Hi, I'm Omari.
I make games, websites, and small strange worlds — mostly on my own, start to finish.
Three of my games are on Steam right now, with free demos for all four. I also write, build the sites, run the community, and answer my own email. I like making things that feel cared-for — and I'm always happy to make them with good people.
I've been making games on my own since 2020 — self-taught, one tool at a time, until it became the work I do every day. I handle the whole thing: design, code, art direction, writing, the website, the launch, and the players afterward. No big team behind me, just a lot of care and a long history of actually shipping.
Before games, most of my career was in community and product. I still love that part — listening, building trust, turning feedback into something real. If you need someone who can take an idea all the way to "it's live and people like it," that's the thing I'm best at.
Games on Steam
Bloodweight
Out nowYou guide a bloodline across a hundred generations as choices cascade, traits pass down, and history piles up as a weight on everything that follows. When it ends, an AI chronicler writes the whole thing back to you as a piece of dark literary history. Free demo on the store page.
systems design · procedural generation · narrative · the whole build, solo
A.K.O. — Arrow Keys Only
Out nowFour keys, one hand, and nothing else — your weapon fires on its own, so you just move, dodge, and switch. It's small on purpose: five pilots, dozens of skins, eleven megabytes, nine languages, and a free demo. Built to play while you eat, drink, or hold a sleeping baby.
game design · Lua / Love2D · procedural music & sound · nine localizations
Downer Management
Out nowRun a department of disposable employees through thirty-two years of slow office collapse. Hire, promote, mourn, file the paperwork. Warmer and funnier than it sounds. Free demo.
Marblewick: Dragons Die
Coming soonLead a flight of named dragons out into the reach and bring them home. Bells ring twice on return; losses leave empty chairs at the long table. Wishlist it — demo's up now.
Free things to play
Little experiments and browser games, free to try in a tab — no install, no sign-up.
Servitude Inc.
A text-only management game where every worker has a personality, memories, and grudges, and the story comes out of the simulation itself.
Wellness Protocol
A quick prototype where wellness routines become combat moves. Silly, fast, and free.
Gridfire
Match tiles, fight waves, beat bosses, collect perks — with a soundtrack that reacts as you play. Pure browser, no download.
Dragoncut Killer
A small, sharp samurai cutting game about timing and nerve. In and out in a few minutes.
Also built
adarkfable.com
The site where all my games live, designed and shipped solo.
dred.work
The Dredwork label — brand, identity, and the home for the catalog.
Community & words
A Discord I run, a streaming setup, self-published novels, and an album — Machine Lord Human Gang.
What I'm good at
Taking things all the way
From blank page to live and loved — design, code, art direction, writing, launch, and support. I don't drop a project at the handoff; I see it through.
The tools, whatever they are
Lua & Love2D for games; JavaScript, TypeScript, Svelte, Astro, and React for the web; Python for tooling. I pick up what a job needs and get useful fast.
The business side, too
Years of professional experience across Operations, Community Management, Customer Support, Sales, and Customer Success — the work that keeps a product, and the people around it, healthy.
Writing & story
A published author since 2015. Every game ships with words I wrote — I can write the docs and the dialogue, the README and the lore.
Let's make something good.
If you need someone who builds with care and follows through, I'd love to hear from you. The fastest way to reach me is email — I answer it myself.
